Now in its 50s+ year of operation, Snowbird’s Oktoberfest is Utah’s original and largest Oktoberfest celebration, attracting 60,000+ visitors per season. Every Saturday, Sunday, and Labor Day from mid-August through mid-October, Snowbird transforms into a Bavarian wonderland featuring live music on two stages (traditional German/Bavarian music in the Halle Tent; local artists on Chickadee Stage), 50+ varieties of beer in the biergarten, Der Marktplatz with 40+ local vendors, live art installations, yodeling, alphorns from Hidden Peak, and a Beard & Moustache Competition. The Grand Oktoberfest Weekend (late August/early September) includes a ceremonial keg tapping and parade of musicians and dancers. Voted one of America’s 10 Best Oktoberfests by Men’s Journal. Event runs 12pm–6pm each day.
