9th and 9th Street Festival

Celebrating its 33rd year in 2026, the 9th and 9th Street Festival is a beloved neighborhood street festival hosted by the East Liberty Park Community Organization. The free all-day event features local artists, makers, food vendors, live music performances, face painting, children’s bike rodeo, and participating local businesses. The festival brings together residents and fans of the eclectic 9th & 9th neighborhood for a day of community, art, music, and food. Hours: 10am–6pm.

Salt Lake City Greek Festival

Celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2026, the Salt Lake City Greek Festival is the second-largest cultural festival in Utah and the largest Greek festival west of the Mississippi River. Held at the Holy Trinity Cathedral, the three-day event features authentic Greek food, traditional Hellenic and Orthodox cultural experiences, spectacular Greek folk dancers, guided tours of the historic cathedral and museum, and a vibrant community atmosphere. Hours: Fri–Sat 11am–10pm, Sun 12pm–8pm.

Utah State Fair

With over 150 years of history, the Utah State Fair is Utah’s premier annual community gathering, held for 11 days at the Utah State Fairpark on 65 acres. The fair features agricultural exhibits, livestock shows, thrilling rides, carnival games, live entertainment on multiple stages, a rodeo, monster truck shows, demolition derbies, local crafts, fine arts, home arts competitions, photography, food competitions, and hundreds of vendors. A beloved multi-generational tradition in Salt Lake City.

Westside CultureFest

Westside CultureFest is Salt Lake County’s free arts and community festival celebrating the vibrant creative energy of the Westside communities. The two-day event features 25+ performances on indoor and outdoor stages including traditional dance, contemporary music, circus arts, film, and more; an artist market with local artists and craftspeople; food trucks; a bar area for adults; and art activities for kids. Utah County Fair

The Utah County Fair is a beloved multi-day agricultural and community fair held at the Spanish Fork Fairgrounds, nestled at the foot of the Wasatch Mountains. The fair features a petting zoo, junior livestock show, competitive arts and crafts exhibits, kids corner activities, a Western Rodeo (free admission), Monster Truck Show, Demolition Derby, car show, tractor pull, live music from local bands, and an extensive food vendor lineup. A classic family tradition for Utah County residents.

Midvale Harvest Days

Midvale Harvest Days is a week-long community celebration with over 80 years of tradition, capturing the community spirit and cultural richness of Midvale City. The 2026 event runs July 27 through August 1 and features neighborhood block parties (July 27–28), the Hall of Honors and Art Show (July 29), Tyler Library Night with lawn and board games (July 30), a free Concert in the Park at 7pm on the Midvale City Park Stage (July 31), and the grand finale Midvale Harvest Days Parade, Festival, and Fireworks on Saturday August 1.

Days of ’47 Parade

One of the oldest and largest parades in the United States, the Days of ’47 Parade commemorates the arrival of Mormon pioneers in the Salt Lake Valley on July 24, 1847. The parade features colorful floats, marching bands, horses, clowns, and more and draws thousands of spectators along its route from South Temple & State Street, east to 200 East, south to 900 South, and east to 600 East (ending at Liberty Park). Many families camp overnight on the route to claim spots. Presented and televised by KSL 5.

Draper Days

Draper Days is Draper City’s premier annual community celebration held over nine days in July. The festival features a parade, 5K race, professional rodeo (July 10–11 at Ballard Arena), car show, Draper Idol vocal competition, historic walking tour, children’s bike parade, movie night, foam party, and free concerts at Draper Park (July 17–18) with nationally recognized artists plus a drone show (Friday) and fireworks (Saturday).

Utah Arts Festival

Celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2026, the Utah Arts Festival is the largest outdoor multi-disciplinary arts event in Utah. Held over four days at Library Square and Washington Square, the festival attracts 35,000–50,000 attendees and features 800+ visual and performing artists, 100+ live music performances, film, literary events, dance, street theater, children’s art yard, and food and beverage vendors. 2026 headliners include GZA, Yola, Shakey Graves, Say She She, and BANDALOOP.

Fort Herriman Towne Days

Fort Herriman Towne Days is the largest annual community event in Herriman City, drawing the entire community together for a week of family-friendly activities. Events include a carnival, stage entertainment, a fireworks show, the Yeti Run, car show, community parade, and food trucks. One of the fastest-growing community festivals in the Salt Lake Valley given Herriman’s rapid population growth. Full 2026 event details to be released closer to the event.
